The school's responsibility for the children commences with the 8.50 am bell. There is no supervision of play before school as teachers are busy preparing for the school day. Students in Years 1-6 move to assemble in the morning chat area (adjacent to tuckshop) each morning and await morning messages.
8.50 am: Morning Chat - Children assemble in area between A & B Block.
8.55 am: Students make way to class.
9.00 am: Rolls marked.
11.00 am: First break.
11.15 am: Students go to play.
11.45 am: Students stop playing and line up for class.
1.15 pm: Second break.
1.30 pm: Students go to play.
1.45 pm: Students stop playing and line up for class.
3.00 pm: Students leave classrooms for the day.
Whole school assemblies are held fortnightly on Fridays at 9:10 am in the school hall. Students go to class at the 8:55am bell to have the roll marked and are walked to the hall with their classes.
Assembly is a chance for the school to come together to celebrate learning and student achievement as well as achnoeledge key events.
